Bummed Out

I blew off my workout today and it pisses me off.  The hardest part of my workout is waking up.  Because we’re always running around, I have to get to the gym by 5am.  I set my alarm at 4:15.  My goal is always to get to the gym by 4:30 (opening time) but it’s only happened once.

The worst thing is that I don’t just turn off the alarm and go to sleep until my wife’s alarm goes off.  I end up laying there, half asleep, having this raging argument with myself in my head: “GET UP!!”, “I’M TOO TIRED”, “YOU HAVE TO DO THIS”, “10 more minutes”, “GET UP”.

I hate when I do this.  Now I’m going to end up thinking about it all day long.  Now I have no choice but to work out tomorrow morning.  AAAARRRRRGH!
