Did horribly on Strength II

I had a really hard time sticking with Strength II. At times because of motivation, at times because of scheduling, and other times just because I was so frickin’ tired. I actually did each workout three times (not four as directed in the book). I had to take a week in the middle of it, and I have to take this week off too because of scheduling. I also felt really tired throughout this workout and had a really hard time waking up at 4am. I don’t know if it’s because of all the heavy lifting in this program.

I actually liked the workout. They were all under an hour long and I felt good once I was done at the gym. It was just getting up early the next time that was the problem.

I’ve always tried to go to the gym three times a week. There were times during this program that I only went twice during the week, so it took me waaaay too long to get through three of each workout (twelve workouts total). As you might notice on my stats page, I didn’t change much from the end of Strength I to now. I’m guessing that’s because of my sporadic workouts..

I’m going to enjoy this week off, then I’m going to back to another program that’s not Strength related. Maybe I’ll feel less tired that way. I’ll post as soon as I decide which program to do.

    So do you still like this workout? Has it been effective for you? I’ve considered starting as I have been lifiting for a while wtihout the progress I would like.

    Yes I still really like NROL. I started at the beginning of the year and have kept up with it as written with a couple of additional weeks of rest. I would definitely recommend it.
